I think for the most part we are talking about vendors who pose as brides to recommend their services. You can usually tell who they are because they have very few posts, most of which they are talking about this great company they heard of or used

I personally don't care if someone on here isn't engaged or planning a wedding and they are just looking for advice or something or planning early. I mean, I've asked alot of stuff about being MOH for my sister.

Sure, some people know they are getting engaged, or maybe are bored and want wedding ideas or advice as an MOH. I don't care as long as they are not flaming or spamming or starting drama.

i think we are more talking about vendors posing as brides. the funny thing is look at the bottom at the related posts. this is obviously been a problem since the inception of LIW

opps sorry didnt mean that i meant ppl come on her pretending to be engagaged for wat y yea i know its a wedding site but for the most part we are all women and sometimes we need help and cant go to family or friends bc it might be embrassing

That and there have been cases where it was a real bride, who created another account to cause problems with her original account, and it just caused lots of Drama.

While I know some people are lurkers and may have come on just to tell a rave about someone they worked with, usually you can tell with someone who just joined and their first post on multiple boards is

'OMG, I just met with the most awesome vendor, you have to check out (insert vendor name here) they are the best!!!'

Or times when they start defending a vendor when someone expresses displeasure, saying 'oh well, you are only telling one side, blah blah blah'

Most are vendors, some more obvious than others, but sometimes it can be someone who creates an account solely to harrass or cause problems for someone on the board.

ok now thats crazy but if its someone who wants to know about pricing etc idk we should jump on them my first post was about makeup it took me a while to get use to this site

I consider a fake bride vendors, who pose as brides to get info.

Those who are on this website who have not gotten engaged yet, but know that it is on it's way, I wouldn't consider them a fake bride. They are just trying to get a jump start on things, which I find admirable, and I am willing to help them as much as I can.

Someone asking about pricing isn't one of the flags. usually its obvious, like someone coming on to say something about a vendor who is not on the site, and usually just started, and trying to draw attention to themselves. I have seen some where on all the boards it was
