Veuve Cliquot (have no idea how it's actually spelled!! but it had an orangish label - can drink an entire bottle and no headache/hangover - to me a sgn of a good champagne!!!)

Yes I love this stuff...and you spelled it correctly. It is just at the $50 mark
also a real price performer is Domain Chandon, it's technically a sparkling wine because it's from CA, but it is great and at $20 or less for a bottle... why not have champers once a week!!!
