'closing time'

Us too!

Closing Time - Semisonic

Closing time - time for you to go out, go out into the world.
Closing time - turn the lights up over every boy and every girl.
Closing time - one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time - you don't have to go home but you can't stay here.

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Closing time - time for you to go back to the places you will be from.
Closing time - this room won't be open 'til your brothers or you sisters
come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits - I hope you have found a friend.
Closing time - every new beginning comes from some other beginning'send.

Yeah, I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Closing time - time for you to go back to the places you will be from...

I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home...

Closing time - every new beginning comes from some other beginning'send...

I don't know the exact name of it but I think it's called 'you don't have to go' and i think it's by Led Zeplin or one of those older rock bands.

We danced to 'Time Of My Life' from Dirty Dancing.

That's what I want to dance to.

I think we had 'Late in the Evening' by Paul Simon. I think that's what it's called.

Save the last dance for me - Michael Boublay (sp?)

That's what we had. And everyone who was left at that time danced too, it was cool. I'm a big Michael Buble fan.

Lauren, do you like Rusted Root? I love that album, it's one of my favorites.

We're using American Pie by Don Mclean. We always play that song at parties and everyone sings along -- its a great end to any night.

Ours was supposed to be 'New York, New York' but for some reason my DJ decided to play a Barry White song.

why are you suing her?!!?!?!?! (just kidding!!)

I LOVE Bon Jovi...

How can I have:

Elvis 'The Wonder of You'
Bon Jovi 'Never Say Goodbye'
and
'I've Had the Time of My Life' (which FH has sung the Patrick Swayze part to me while dancing in our living room recently)

ALL as our 'last song?'

Ours will either be 'Closing Time' by Semisonic or 'Save the Last Dance' by Michael Buble.
