I'm not 100% sure but, I think it's where everyhting having to do with your wedding would be white...like a color scheme.

A snowball wedding, normally done in the Winter, is when ALL of the women where white or ivory- the Moms, BMs and Bride. Also the table linens, and flowers are in the same color scheme.

I am not a fan of BMs or Moms wearing white/ivory but if you love the idea then Go For It and Have fun. You could do snowflake ornaments as favors and try to do sometype of snowman cookies.

I am doing a winter theme...lots of snow ideas if you're interested. BUT, as Michele31 stated, usually everyone is in all white, but not in my case. My girls are in black and white and I asked my mom not to wear white.

Not sure but I think a snowball wedding is where EVERYONE (guests included) are asked to wear white or ivory. The result is really amazing photos if everyone complies but its a lot to ask a man to buy a white or ivory suit.

I think Stef is right, someone I used to work with attended one of these and complained that their husband was supposed to wear a white suit.
