i am going to the city to a bar called bourbon street...its only 60 bucks all you can drink from 9-2 and a small buffet it says but im expecting peanuts or something

we are having dinner with FILs and their friends - they always order TONS of chinese food and we all just pig out and make crazy drinks
then before midnight i am going to my cousin's brother in law's - they are having a huge family party and were nice enough to invite us!
i cant get TOO crazy though - New Year's Day is a BIG deal in my family, everyone comes over and i have to help make the meal. . .FH always thought it was so odd that we celebrated NYD - but now i think he likes it, lots of food is always a good thing!

going out to a lounge/bar in the city...its $90 and you get appetizers and dinner, i think everyone reserved a table and the food is family style, plus open bar all night. It looks nice, it has a restaurant area, a bar and a really big outside garden with couches and all that.

we are going to dinner at 6:30 with the FIL's and then back to our house for evening.
Its so awesome having a house to have people back at.

going to a yact club in brooklyn with FIL's. we go every year, its an awesome time! and this will be our first NYE as an engaged couple!

Well our house is just a regular cape style house, we submitted our architect plans in september and are still waiting for our hearing date. We needed to get variances and all kinds of permits.
By spring of 08 our house is going to be completely redone, top to bottom! Then i will really post pics!

We're hosting a game night. We're not really into NYE, so we like to keep it low key. My parents, my sister, a few of her friends, a few of our friends, some apps, drinks, games, pajamas.... perfect!

FH and I are staying home, we have another couple coping over. FH is cooking, he's making pheasant in our tiny kitchen. I'm in charge of cleaning the apartment.
