I'm starting to work on my little details for my reception and I don't know what to do for my wedding favor. What are some of the things you girls picked as your favors? Pics would be appreciated! TIA!!!

We are doing luggage tags since FH and I both love to travel.
Our place cards will be attached to mini caramel apples and then I plan on ordering maple syrup from Vermont in those glass leaf-shaped bottles. Nice and cozy for fall :O)
I am undecided. I was thinking measuring spoons or an Ice Cream scooper.

We had CD's with our favorite song, mostly love songs w/ a picture of us on the front and an insert of pics. w/ our fam. and friends. It had a Christmas theme, it had snow flakes in the background of the picture. We also, had bookmarks with a poem written on it thanking all of guests, that had our pic. on it as well.

My question is this...... As far as favors go, aren't they supposed to be like a thank you for coming to the wedding. Are favors supposed to be what your guests will use and like and get use of, or are they supposed to be what the bride and groom would like, giving the guests a taste of the bride and groom?

we're doing donation scrolls to the national breast cancer foundation, inc. :)
We're doing picture frame place cards and personalized M&M's in organza bags.....love M&M's!!!
We gave two half bottles of wine per couple: one Wolffer Chardonnay and one Wolffer merlot.

Wow- OK, weird.
So, not only are we both having bamboo elements in our weddings, but our names are so similiar (I'm Lauren). And our FH's are named Victor!!!!
