We were thinking of doing this because my grandmother passed away from ovarian cancer ( our wedding date is her birthday). May I ask how much you were planning on donating and what you were going to say on the favor?

We are doing Jordan Almonds (fh is Italian) and scratch off lottry tickets 'Win for Life', in little note cards, with 2002 pennies. We will have the dj make an announcement for people to scratch off the ticketss, this way we can see if anyone wins anything.

My FH's father passed away from cancer 2 yrs. ago so we will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society in his name ( we will also give out organza bags filled with hershey kisses)

livininsin - if you go to godiva.com you can look at all of the favors prices - they range from $3 - very exp.

I am giving out dove ornaments that are made of biodegradable paper that has pine tree seeds pressed in it. So you plant the ornament and it grows an Austian pine tree. Ties into my holiday theme.

We are also making a donation to the American Cancer Soceity - because my FI dad had cancer. I like your idea of the hugs and kisses. I was just going to have something printed up. Now you have me thinking what I can attach it to.

I am doing mini bottles of chamapagne, and I am having a friend amke a grooms cake for me which I will box up and give to my guests.

I gave out two tulip bulbs in a little box.

Being that I'm having a theme wedding, guests will be asked to take an elaborate feathered mask on a stick (I have dif kinds for men and women) before entering the ballroom...

I have a small going with my favors. it all started with the toasting glasses we got. they have a matching candle and trinket box. I am also putting a tuelle bag of almonds in the box with the poem about what the almonds mean.

With a lighthouse/seashell theme we are probably doing a small corked bottle with white sand & seashells in it w/ a personalized label on it unless I can find some small reasonably priced small lighthouse figurines.

I was thinking about having little bottles of wine with an original label. My brother is dsigning the label, it will have the picture of the place wit our names and the date. Attached will be a very cute place card that I saw. It looks like a place setting , in the center of the plate will be the name and table number/ I will set them up where the table cards would be.
