I bought the wedding bubbles a long time ago. What is everyone else doing?

I couldn't decide either. The church won't let us throw anything. We are taking pictures beforehand so I think that we are going to have just the wedding party do bubbles, and streamers (I have seen pictures with this that look so great). This way I only have to get them for the wedding party, and won't have too many things thrown at us.

We did bubbles it was so beautiful. My MOH sprinkled petals before I walked down the aisle!!!

I guess I'm the exception --> We're doing rice (technically 'wedding rice' - which doesn't hurt the birds & washes away with rain).

Basically - I didn't think my guests would have sufficient bubble-blowing technique to get enough going without spilling the stuff all over them, and the rose pedals seemed pricey...so I figured we'd stick with tradition (since my FI couldn't care less )

Watch out for the bubbles if they get on your dress they will leave a water mark!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also you have to make sure the wind is blowing in the right direction for the right effect in the photo. Rose petals are the way to go!!!!!!

I'm planning on using rose petals. I'm going to a wedding soon and they'll be using them, so I'll get to check it out for myself. I agree about the bubbles. I'm afraid people will spill them on themselves!!

I am doing bubbles. I found bubbles with a butterfly top from Michaels Craft store. It matches our butterfly theme.

Be careful with the rose petals. They may stain your dress, depending on how fresh they are. If you get the satin or the dried ones they are just as pretty. and wont stain.
