What is everyone doing for ceremony music?
I'm just having my bands keyboard , i looked into strings but it was pretty expensive and my ceremony is like 20 min. Didn't seem worth the price but it's def nice.

I'm thinking about just paying my DJ for an extra hour to play music for my ceremony. I'm too tired and stressed to start searching for ceremony musicians.

I hired an acoustic guitar player for my ceremony which also is outside but I know some friends who had their DJ come an hour early and play at the ceremony. Most can have two set ups so it is pretty seamless.

Can you share the info on the guitar player? That sounds beautiful! I'd love to look into that. Who are you using?

I'm having a guitar/cello combo, but I hired them through my DJ. He will coordinate with them.

Thanks so much for all of the info and suggestions. It's really helpful. I'm reaching out to some vendors about strings but I think once I book my DJ, I will see what they can offer as well.
Thanks again!

Our ceremony is at a church and the pianist will be playing the music. I would love to have a violinist or harp player but its not in the budget. I might contact the local hs for a cheaper option.
2014 crasher.... I'm having my friends kid sister play acoustic guitar!! She's like my little sister too (she'll be 14 for my wedding) and FH and I both love her to bits! This is our way of having her in the wedding AND having a different ceremony music style :)

Re: What is everyone doing for ceremony music?
We were going to have the DJ company play music but we are upgrading to live music the strings duo. Our DJ company said they will play live music before the ceremony so people can listen to music before the ceremony and during the ceremony. I want to set a romantic tone before the ceremony.
