$85 per couple is insane... wow...
We're spending about $1.50 per couple or so... I don't have an exact amount per couple, but I think with everything it came to about $250-300, and we're having about 220 people. (I'm so bad at math!)
We're doing hot pink, green, orange, and light blue m&ms and hershey's kisses, wrapped in colored tulle and tied with a ribbon. Sweet, simple, colorful fun!
And I HIGHLY recommend to anybody who is considering the m&m's - skip the personalized ones, and skip buying them online, and go to the candy store in Walt Whitman Mall - the manager there was extremely nice and helpful, and gave us a discount since we were buying so much. And I also always recommend and appreciate someone who doesn't try to squeeze as much out of us as possible - HE is the one who recommended that we just go to costco and buy big bags of hershey's kisses, rather than ordering them through him, because it would save us a ton of money. That to me is the sign of someone I want to work with!

we did Ice cream scoopers 2.65 each, and wrapped with tulle and tied it with ribbon with our name and dates on it.
As FH loves dragons, we are doing pewter dragon bottle openers which after much shopping around starting at $6.99 each, I was able to find for $1.99 each!!!! We were so excited.
We may also do a donation to American Cancer Society in memory of our fathers and we'll tie the scrolls to the top of the boxes.

we're doing CDs (price? i dunno....cheap?) and personalized playing cards( about $4).
...tried to talk FH out of the cards....he's not hearing me crazy the things they get groomzilla about!

we are giving two tier desert platters per couple.were having a small wedding less than 100 people.we bought 60 just in case.we got a great deal about $5.00 each.

I am doing either homemade mini pies, in personalized boxes wrapped in raffia OR jars of either apple butter, pumpkin butter or honey, with a personalized label. We're getting married in November, I want something homey
Not sure yet I was thinking mugs with hot chocolate. FH wants Godivia chocolate. And I want to do CD's with our weddings songs and a few of our favorites.
we're having a snowflake theme and are probably going with these tealight holders ... they're about $2.25 each.

We did olive oil bottles and by the time we wrapped them with paper and ribbon....we were at about $2.50-$3.00!!! It was great.

I think if youre willing to spend that much per favor there may be something nicer or something more useful. If you love them then you should do it but I think it doesnt look as expensive as it is. That really is a lot of $ to spend on favors but you're the bride

We are totalling about 6$ a couple. I am doing flower vases or candle holders...and im also buying those flower lollipops to put on the tables...they are so adorable.
