making my own CD favors. doing the layout for the cover on Photoshop with pictures of us and all the places we've traveled to (alot, because of the Army) and then burning all the CDs while hoping my computer doesn't crap out.
Should only cost a little over a dollar each when all is said and done....plus, i figure it's something people can keep in their cars and have for awhile

I want to do edible favors. I'll probably be getting 3' heart personalized cookies with a red rose, our names and wedding date from Splurge Bakery
Personalized shot glasses, personalized bottles of vodka, and liquor filled chocolates...one per person and then the florist was creating break aways so every couple got to take home flowers...
Think it ran about $1000 total....now I have 250 personalized shot glasses that are useless and 250 bottles of absolute which means I have a lot of drinking to do...lol!

for those of you who are undecided and are able to spend about $7 per person, there's this photographer who sets up a little area in a corner and takes a 5 x 7 photo of couple/family and puts it in one of those cardboard frames and engraves the photo with whatever you want. i thought it was cute since no one really has a use for most favors...

Most of the weddings i go to have no favors - so then don't do one I find nothing wrong with that. Most weddings that gave me a favor I hated and tossed it out. Only a few I really liked.
We did the monogramed pint glasses 144 @ $500.00 with the shipping included so that came to 3.47 each but we are giving out two per couple but if the list keeps growing we might have to do one but then we will have a ton of left overs.
The bags and tissue paper = $20.00
I got coasters from Ireland (100 coasters) for $60.00 that we are giving out also in the bags with the glasses.
So in total $8.00 per couple which is too much but we really wanted to do it and we budgeted for it.

i am doing the mini tin pails and filling them with brown sugar then sea shell shaped chocolates (if i decided to make them) if not maybe some personalized m&m`s

We did Lenox silver Christmas ornaments that I bought right after Christmas - great deal!
When all was said and done we spent about $6/couple. We changed the ribbon and packaging too.
We also did hershey kisses (pink wrapped) at each place setting.
