I was thinking of going to one of the catering halls with a group of friends. There is so much food and alcohol!!!!!!!!! ANd I get to dress up! Just not sure what one to go to. There are so many to choose from. ANyone else doing anything similiar?

i have no clue yet...every year since fh and i have been together we have went upstate to fhs grandparents upstate house (they dont go up there then) and just party and drink there with friends but im kinda over it...i want to go out somewhere and dress up (my friends usually go somewhere in the city) but fh still wants to go upstate..so i have no idea

I've never spent new years with FH and have never had a new years kiss. this will be our 6th new years together... apart
We've always spent winter break with our families (who live in different states) and this is the first time we live together and he's working full time, so he can't really take off. Plus, he just came out to NY for Thanksgiving.
I'm spending xmas with FH's family for the first time this year, and since it's in the middle of my break I'm going to stay out here from the end of exams till xmas. I'm going to spend the 2nd (longer) part of my break in NY with the fam, which includes new years.
I dont have any plans... last year my friends screwed me over and our plans fell through, so I ended up at Mulcahys with a bunch of guys I used to hang out with in HS
This year isnt looking any better since one of my good friends is prob going to be out of state.
I hope something comes up... maybe someone will throw a party...

I've always wanted to do the catering hall thing, but never have. Last New Year's Eve we went to a friend's house...who knows what's going on this year though.

we're going with one of my BP to niagara falls. there's a free concert there every year & we're splitting a hotel suite...so by dividing all the math by 3 - we can afford it!
we stay 15 minutes outside of niagara and the suite costs 120!!! It's FANTASTIC!!!!
