anything creative? i don't want to go crazy, but I want them to look pretty. any ideas would be appreciated!!! i can't beliee im starting to think about placecards!!!

We had a scroll made. It looked like an enormous book with everyones name and table number. It was a hit! DH's cousin had it at her wedding and as our wedding gift she bought it for us. After the wedding you bring it back to the store and they roll the scroll and give a keepsafe holder for you to keep. It is quite costly but it looked beautiful!
we went with plain place cards. follow your heart did the computer calligraphy and supplied the cards too.

Okay, this is my idea, although I will probably get too stressed out to actually do it. I am making wedding cake shaped cookies and will put the table number on the cookie and have the guests name attached with a tag.

I'm doing frame placecard holders, just not sure who will be doing the writing, don't want to spend $$$ on this since they look at it once.

I saw this posted by another bride. I liked it and am going to do this myself...just a simple way to jazz up a placecard...I like alot!!!
I'm using the placecard frames that are in my album and I am going to use the artwork from my save the date as a logo for the actual placecard itself. I made a template on word so when I figure out who is at what table, I'll just type em in and print them out.

is it bad if I just use the ones the hall provides? i just cant justify personally spending the $$ on it when they will look at it and keep it for a few days then forget about it.. any other inexpensive options?

I am going with a fall theme. So I am considering having a tree with leaf tags as the placecard.
