I got my dad George Carlin's newest book, 'When will Jesus bring the pork chops?' He likes his comedy so I figued it'd be good.

I really wanted to get something about being the FOB, but I waited too long and couldn't find anything at the mall. Maybe for x-mas!

My dad loves his boat so I got him a shirt that says 'captain' and one that says 'here fishy fishy' to wear fishing. A pillow for the boat that says 'welcome aboard' and a gift cert. to boaters world

What about a gift cert to dinner...or take him out to dinner. My dad is a runner so I can usually pick up some inexpensive running shorts, or wristbands/headbands. If there is a hobby that he has maybe pick up a few things. Or if he is a reader, maybe a gift cert to borders/B & N.

Taking him to brunch at our beach club. No actual gift - He would be mad anyway since I am supposed to be saving for the wedding.
