I just got my quote emailed to me and its crazy expensive!!! can anyone help? I am having a large wedding which is why everything seems to be getting out of hand. i was ok with the price at first but then its like an extra 1k for shipping!!!!! just to get them fom the company!!!

I spent $227.00 from Einvite.com - for 100 invites, response cards & envelopes (that price includes shipping - which i think, once you hit $200 is free).
I haven't done invites yet, but I've looked into prices. It can get extremeley expensive. I want to keep it a reasonable as possible. I want nice ones, but I'm not going crazy. I'd rather spend on other things.

we totally overpaid on our invites---i'm not a rockefeller by any means--but we couldn't find anything else we liked...until we found a rather expensive book from Elite Weddings...so we got suckered and paid $850 for 100 invites.

we need 125 invites. i'm going to do a pocketfold invite with a 'regular' invite instead of DIY that part. the invites we love are $75.80 for $100 (it's less than $100 for 125) the pocketfolds we got for $0.72 each
we'll probably print our own Reception card, we'll get the directions from the Fox Hollow... and prob do free postcards from vistaprint (but pay the $5 for our own design.
we're hoping to keep it under $300 for everything.(not including all of the postage but some)

We're still going back and forth between a few styles, but our budget is no more that $300 for approx. 85-100 invites.

wow i think i need to look into invites more. my price was 3k with shipping they are 4k. you guys got them in the hundereds! i need at least 250 invites so.... but still big difference. no wonder fh 's eyes bulged out lol. i didnt know how much was reasonable. thanks guys!

we're diying our pocketfolds. the pocketfolds and invite mats cost a little over $150. we were gonna use plain white paper but now we're using metallic paper so that'll be about another $60-$90. with envelopes that we bought already...everything is about $300

Katespaperie.com has some on sale. it was $18 for a box of 25. they just happened to have the color i wanted. it was the best wedding deal yet lol

too darn much.
I really want pocketfolds and I am willing to do them myself, but they are still getting expensive.
So far- for 150 DIY pocketfolds with postage- just under $650

i have a website you can look at also have you looked into birchcraft?? theres are pretty reasonable!
