I just got my quote emailed to me and its crazy expensive!!! can anyone help? I am having a large wedding which is why everything seems to be getting out of hand. i was ok with the price at first but then its like an extra 1k for shipping!!!!! just to get them fom the company!!!

I think Ill just email people, its free! This is sooo expensive any way you look at it! Im definitely planning on designing my own with my coworker who is a graphic designer. Materials aren't cheap though either.

Mine were about $400 for 150 invites, RSVP and Reception cards, including the lining on the inner envelope. They were thru Birchcraft, but I used a little stationary store in Bay Terrace and I got 30% off regular price. So I think it was a good deal.

Thanks guys, for the suggestions!!!! i will definatly look into them!!!! I'm still gonna wait so i couldsee the proof. if i absolutly love the then i just wont shop until the wedding and save money lol. I don't really need to go to the gap all the time lol.

I haven't done invites yet, but I've looked into prices. It can get extremeley expensive. I want to keep it a reasonable as possible. I want nice ones, but I'm not going crazy. I'd rather spend on other things.
Ditto to that. They get thrown away by everyone else except you and few close family/friends.

We spent about $110 for 100 invites. We kept it simple with a seal and send and they are beautiful!

wow i think i need to look into invites more. my price was 3k with shipping they are 4k. you guys got them in the hundereds! i need at least 250 invites so.... but still big difference. no wonder fh 's eyes bulged out lol. i didnt know how much was reasonable. thanks guys!
Remember invitations are beautiful, but everyone throws them away.

i am not really a fair person to judge this but I spent about $350.00 for 80 invites (pocket fold) with seals, bands, hotel cards, direction cards, response, both envelopes printed, menu's, programs, seating cards and some odds and ends. NOW saying this I got a deal since I design for a living and work for a print shop. BUT if I didn't I would of spent the same amount regardless and just did less extras or scaled down with the invite.
As people say - you look - you read- you toss out. This goes for everything paper oriented at your wedding.
