Is regular rice bad for birds. Our priests..told us we can throw anything....
Yes regular rice is bad for 2 reasons in particular. First, its hard and if there is alot on the ground people can slip and fall. (NOT GOOD) and the second thing is that when birds eat it, and then they drink water, it expands in their tummies and they explode (or get really sick).
This is not good.....

We released balloons. The church didn't allow throwing rice, petals. We didn't like the bubble idea.

We are blowing bubbles..... rice is bad for birds, butterflies are usually dead, confetti is not easy to clean up, bird seed gets stuck in your hair, balloons pollute the environment, rose petals are too much work right before the ceremony... the wands are nice too.

You can also try these STREAMER THROWS -- I was going to do these but my church said NO to these TOO!!So check with yours first...

hum, I bought sparklers (3 foot ones) but it will be daylight at the church and wont show up in pics (I think) Oh well
