my church isn't a big fan but we are doing the rose toss. A neighbor is going to come with the leaf blower after we leave and clean it all up. No need to annoy the church!

we used little plastic bags, folded down the top and used a sticker to keep it in place. I am not sure if you can see it really well in this picture.

I used cones of musical sheets - actually, the piece my mom and I walked down the isle to (I posted a pic somewhere) which was an overall success. However, some guests just used the cone to throw the petals at us, so they didn't get as high as you would have thrown them with your hand - does that make sense? It still came out great in photos.

Each guest was given a cone at the end of the receiving line outside the church.

My Aunt made a special decorated basket that matched my wedding colors that she filled with the petals. We didn't use cones or bags or anything...just reach your hand into the basket and grab a handfull to shower on the bride and groom!

Michele31 did the same thing this past weekend - she covered the basket with white satin material, and we tied purple ribbons around the handle to match her colors. Her coordinator filled the basket with petals during the ceremony, and everyone just grabbed a handful when the ceremony was over.

we did bubbles, because our church wanted to charge us a clean-uo fee. I think the bubbles look really nice in pics. I decorated the bubbles with tulle to mtach BM dresses, and decorated my bubble basket
