WHAT is hand canceling?!

I have to get my invites out TOMORROW and I dont know what this means

when you bring them to the PO you hand stamp them instead of them running thru the machine

Hey PegaLega! This is off the topic but I figured I'd ask

I am having my wedding at CB as well..how do you order the cake...do they give you the filling and design options....can you tell what you want from pictures or is it just whatever they have?

Nope. not bad at all. In fact, one of the brides on this site said that she worked for the post office and that the invites have to go through a machine anyway...and it doesnt really matter.

I asked the post office to hand cancel mine and they refused! They said it's too time consuming :(

this is right...they go thru a machine regardless. I think its more just to save the envelopes from going thru 2x and tearing...but it happens. My invites were hand cancelled and we had some returned and they looked like they went thru the damn ringer
