I always thought that drinks were included in price but just read that it is not. Is this true?

nope. Only food is included. You have to pay for drinks, including soda.

its one of the reasons i'm not a fan of cruises....all food is included but no drinks at all. on some cruises not even soda is included. you just have to give them your card when getting a drink and then you pay for all the alcohol you consume later---but it can add up QUICK!
hence why i <3 all inclusive resorts. drink all you want...woohoo!

Ya thats the tricky part with cruises....you get tons and tons of food...but everything else goes on y our room card....so at the end of the trip you get this huge bill....for everything from drinks to excursions. Plus since you aren't using a credit card and just giving your card you have no idea what your spending...

No drinks... and the last cruise I went on they were all around $10 each.

Only the food is included--def. not drinks. FH wants to go on a cruise in the end of summer, but I much more prefer an all inclusive resort, where drinks and food are unlimited. It can run you up a pretty penny after all the drinks you drink.

food and activities on the ship.
shore excursions and drinks are not.
be careful with the drink bill... it's easy to keep handing over your room key but then when you get the bill later... OUCH lol
