what is mineral makeup?

how is it different from regular or airbrush???

sorry i don't wear much makeup. I have combo oily/dry skin & tend to break out with anything that is too heavy.

i use bare essentials/bare minerals make up. I really like it. the foundation is much lighter and it it stays on pretty long. i really like it!

i just bought the starter kit the other day...do you pretty much use a small amount of the foundation with the brush and just kinda swirl it onto your face?? I feel like i am doing it wrong but i read the directions haha

i do know its more natural and not alot of chemicals, but not exactly sure which chemicals it doesnt have or what it does have in it, so i found this info for you online

I definitely haven't perfected it (even though I've used it for awhile) b/c sometimes it comes out looking better than others. But I just put a small amount of powder in the cap, put some on the brush and swirl it all around my face...just like you said! If I have blemish that I really want to cover I use my blending brush and put a little extra on that spot. It usually works.

I order my bare essentials from QVC. They offer different kits there...different colors, brushes, cases to put everything in. You should check it out b/c they offer some different things than in the store or online! There is a bare essential store in Roosevelt Field also, in case you were wondering!

thank you...i will def check out QVC. Yeah I only used the stuff twice, i did a test run haha and then i did it this morning for work....not too shaby i guess i gotta get used to perfecting it and how it goes on haha

I just bought new liquid foundation yesterday, just to try something different, but I love the mineral stuff. Turned a bunch of people on to it and they swear by it now.
The only thing it isn't great for is women of color, the shades just don't blend as well. Other than that, I think it's worth a try if you haven't experienced it yet. It is very simple to apply - the starter kit comes with an instructional dvd.

i've been meaning to try this..i always get lazy at night and don't wash makeup off..so is this the solution?!? Would you say the cover up looks caked on like other cover ups do? I hate that..

I have bare minerals and I love it!!!

It def. doesn't feel as heavy as regular makeup to me..and after a few times of getting use to putting it on..it literally takes me no more than a minute.

I'm so bad, but I ALWAYS sleep in it..and I haven't had a problem yet!

i have it to and LOVE it!!!!! i have a question tho: when are u supposed to use the clear radiance?

normally i use the foundation, then warmth, then mineral veil....when do i use clean radiance?? lol

Isn't Clear Radiance a blush. They used that on me when they did my makeup. And i'm pretty sure they put it on after the mineral veil. I bought it. But i've never used it
