I finally made my first DIY. I decided to start with the card box.. For all of the supplies (minus the glue gun bc I had one already) it came to $23 (w/ joanne fabric coupons)!!!
I keep looking at my inspiration card box and feel like something is missing. I can not put a bow on top of my card box like the inspiration b/c I put my card hole on the top.
Do you have an good suggestions for what to add? It is difficult to add things bc the card box is round.
Also should I label the card box? Will everyone know to put the card in the box? Should I make the card hole opening more clear? Like a crystal border around the opening?

it looks amazing! you did such a great job. I am agreeing with either the burst of color or the bling (monogram/date etc) it came out GREAT though!

I like the circle boxes a lot.
No one ever knows to use a card box. You will still get bombarded with cards.
I think a little personalization will be nice, maybe your initials? But if you're thinking of selling it after, just leave it the way it is. It's beautiful either way.

I would add a big bow, some ribbon and maybe some pink flowers or something just to spruce it up a little but it looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!! ![]()

I would put your initials and wedding date on the box - the black tier. You can buy small woodern letters from michaels and cover it in crystals, thats what i did for my box. I think it would look great!

wow!!! that's almost the same as your inspiration box!
i'm not *that* artistic but can you give some suggestions/tips on how to do it? for $23 i don't mind making it myself!
