What is normal discount price on dresses?

I just wanted to know what I should expect to get as far as a discount from my bridal shop, I purchased my wedding gown from them and I'm also ordering 6 BMS dresses from them. When I was negotiating a discount with the sales lady she seemed to think I was asking for too much. Can anyone tell me any deals they were able to make with their bridal shop and what is considered normal?

My bridal shop told me upfront (when ordering my gown) that the discount is totally dependent upon the type of dress you choose and the margin therein.

Most shops including mine, don't give much of a discount no matter what. 10-20%

You are better off ordering from an online retailer for 1/2 what they are charging you. The markup on the BM dresses is sick.

It all depends on the shop, the dress, the amount of the dress, etc... No way of knowing.
