I hope they are as easygoing, respectful, funny, understanding, calm, intelligent, caring and diplomatic as he is.
If there's anything I hope they don't inherit it's his skin because he used to have really bad acne as a teen and in terms of personality, his tendency to be really quiet. He's not the type that's comfortable with just engaging in casual conversation. I hope my kids are a little more outgoing.

His smarts - he is so SMART, one of those people who can do well w/o studying
Not have - his thinning hair line, poor baby Also he has a genetic predisposition to cavities!

I hope they get his looks and my son gets my height. I'm very tall, he's average height. He was so good-looking when he was a kid (and still is). I hope they do not get his illogical thinking when it comes to planning.

There are definitely many qualities of his that are great to have, and for me I hope our kids have his athletic ability Not like me.. And, I'm sorry to say this but I hope they don't have his nose..he feels the same way, so that's OK

I hope the kids get FH Brains and not mine, ( I am terrible at Math and Science), His Height ( I am only 5'1). His blue eyes and blond hair( So cute on a kid, I should know I was a blond child).
One thing I hope they don't get is his nose. The whole father side has the same nose. It is not bad, but would be to big on a girl. I have a small nose, so mine is better. Though you can't choose what you get!!

MUST HAVE:
Healthy habits and fitness regiment. I would never blame my parents things, but I think a healthy/fit lifestyle at a young age transforms into them always being that way growing up. Yes they can enjoy the candies - but I want them to understand why limited candies (etc...) are better for you. Michael used to run with his father everyday when he was a little boy (and now a triathlete). So I hope my kids will do the same.
A BIG NO NO:
Like some said - common sense. He gets too technical sometimes. When I tell him to use it ... he says he used to tell his mom ('common sense will tell you...') , 'I'd like to meet this common sense'... that's how much he believes in it.
