if you do not own a home yet, what is one thing it must have before you buy it & why?
or, if you have a house, what was one thing you needed it to have before buying it & why?
I dont have a house yet, but when we buy one it must have 2 bathrooms and they better be big! there is nothing worse than sharing a small bathroom with fh!! it gets dirty easier & its too cramed!! i want a his & hers bathroom! lol

when we were looking to buy our house, we were looking for a 'mother/daughter' which has an apartment...or else we would have not been able to afford it. its been a good investment though, its like a whole nother paycheck, although my tenants are a pain. but after we are married we want to look for another house that has a lot of land, is a new development, and has at least 3 beds and 2 baths. we might move too, upstate ny or something like that

Can't decide on one thing...
The must haves for us are: *Big kitchen with counter and cabinet space (preferably opens to a great rm)
*2 Bathrooms
*Garage with ample space for storage even with car inside

omg it took us 11 months to find a house we searched by school district, central long island, basement, garage, quiet street, at least 2 bedrooms, dining area, and gas cooking...i guess thats why it took so long to find!!!
