What was I thinking???? Mine was piercing my nose at 15.. It wasn't too bad bc I only had a tiny. tiny diamond stud, but it was stupid bc I couldn't keep it for long, being that I had to take it out everytime I entered my house! Wasn't worht the pain.. mind you.. my friends and I did it ourselves!

Definitely not going away to college b/c of an ex-boyfriend.
And there's a handful of guys I wish I hadn't slept with.

Re: What is one thing you look back on and say...
Deciding not to get a degree in Computer Science back when I went to college (the first time). I decided instead that I wanted to be a pilot and got this weak aviation degree. If I had gone through with my original plan, I'd probably be making a butt load of money. And P.S. - even though I have all my licenses and can fly planes, that's not what I do for a living!
But, if I gone the computer route I would've never met FH......

Re: What is one thing you look back on and say...
I dont regret anything. I wish I had finished college.
Hell Im an implusive Leo by heart and action. I was thinking with either my brain or my heart at the time. I stand by both.
What was I thinking??
I decided to flirt with a guy for the first time in my life, trying to 'pick' him up. I was shy. I got him alright.. 5 years later and many break ups, humilation, painful moments, physical fights, police, drunken & drugged hazes to forget him, I still don't regret it. He taught me all I know about what I want from love and the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. This guy is 'The Ex' but we learn from our lives and those choices we make. PS Ex is invited to the wedding no less!
I used to say Im just floating along the river of life. I make mistakes but figure who knew the alternative wasn't worse. I love risk and trying stuff out.
What was I thinking??
I left a job I loved, good pay, my family and a place I knew well and moved to New York City with two suitcases, a packpack and a carry-on, all my bills and financial responbilities. No nest egg, no savings, No job offers, no referrals, no family and no real friends. Just a guy I had started dating the month before and had originally met over the internet. He had 2 kids and a 3rd on the way, divorced and on parole. We broke up 60 days later. I spent a month sleeping on his floor because I refused to sleep in his bed, using my robe as a blanket and my laundry bag as a pillow while I looked for a new place to live.
But look now..... Im gonna get married to a great guy I found here and I learned I can take care of myself, by myself.
I guess Im an optimist. That or I refuse to admit I did something stupid enough to regret.

I wish I would have GONE to college, did well on the SAT's but just didnt want to go. Wish I would have never met my ex, who put me through hell and made my self esteem plummet, wish I would have gone to AC with my Grandmother the one last time before she died, wished I would have saved more and spent less

Re: What is one thing you look back on and say...
I wish I had chosen a different career path. I went for the money (asset managment/investment bank firm) instead of going with my heart (teaching). Turns out the money was great in the beginning but for the last 3 years my firm has been at a freeze in terms of raises and reduced bonuses (my accountant actually asked me if I changed jobs because my W-2 was so much lower than the previous year's income)
Once we have children, I may switch careers in order to work in a less stressful environment.

I wish I became a teacher instead of majoring in marketing/business.
I always wanted to be a teacher and then I got to college and I don't know what possessed me to major in business.

Definitely shaving my head when I was 16. I mean, WHAT was wrong with me? Luckily my hair grows like weeds and it grew back in 6 months. But never again.

I had tons of pics because I thought it was the coolest thing ever, but my mother threw them all away because she was so upset with me for like two years afterwards. There's got to be some in their other house, I'll look the next time I'm there. It's quite interesting!

I regret not saving any money. Unfortunately, the money I made went to paying off my credit card debt, which I carried from age 20 to age 30. It was so stressful!

I want to say that I was supposed to go away for college to pursue a career in physical therapy. I didnt go because I got back together with HS sweetheart, but that didnt work out. I always wonder how my life would be if I did go away to college. But I fel if I did go, I would have never met my husband.

LOL I have more than one
1. Wish I had majored in Education instead of Communications, I regret not becoming a teacher
2. Wish I had the balls to call off my 1st wedding, I was too young to REALLY see the big picture, although having Brandon was the best thing the jackass ever gave me

I wish I had never quit dance classes. I really miss it now. I tap dance when no one is looking in the pantry or waiting for the elevator, or when I'm in a good mood!
I wish I kept playing at least one of the instruments I have learned. Especially the guitar and cello.
I wish I went into illustration as well as interior design.

Losing touch with my high school friends. I regret it to this day.
