WHAT IS PRE-CANA?The Church tries to provide help to couples preparing for marriage. Various forms of meetings are offered, of different lengths and in different places. These are known as Pre-Cana. Basically, married couples and a priest share with the engaged couples insights into marriage as a sacred institution that requires sacrifices. They speak from their experience

Hmmm, 'stealing' an answer about a religion question. Somehow that just struck me as funny ;)

We've had two weeks of pre-cana and are enjoying it so far. We are not religious, but it has been interesing. They make you talk about things you might not have otherwise. The other couples are cool and no one is overly perfect or preaching.

I've had the same experience!! It definately opens up some topics that you just never thought to talk about. And all of the couples in our group are very open, so we have quite a few laughs
(i think its somewhat enlightening too, to see how other couples approach topics and disagreements w/in their relationship)
