what is proper...

are the bride & groom's name supposed to be written on a certain order when sending things?

meaning would i write
Paula & Daniel
or
Daniel & Paula

I always put my name first but thats just because it is me doing everything and I realize now that it should probably be Daniel & Paula...

thoughts anyone????

My parent's and grandparent's generation insists that the woman's name ALWAYS goes first...from formal wedding stuff to birthday and Christmas cards.

I'm okay with that.

Depend on what it is for... I write it both ways.. like on the invite usually the brides name goes first...

But On my Channa Plaque I put his name first..

Apparently you're not supposed to separate the man's name We'll say it's because the lady should come first!

Same exact thing for me. I usually put my name first, but for my plaque I did his first.

ok im glad there is no right or wrong!!! I also tend to put my name first bc i hate FHs last name and dont want to see it directly next to my name

Same for me!! I have been putting my name first for everything, except my plaque, I did FH name first.

Woman's name first - in our case if he has a problem w/ it i say 'well its alpha order'

Since my name ends in an A if I have to 'and' in between our names I use Michael and Marisa because MarisaandMichael just looks and sounds weird....

I don't think it's a big deal unless it's on the invite, woman's name first.
