This year my FH plans to bake cakes & cookies, and I will be eating some of them, following him around the apartment with windex and then working out for 2 hours ![]()

For Halloween...dress up and go to par-tay's. ![]()
Nothing special for Thanksgiving - just spend it with family and gobble up as much of my dads homeade, pumpkin & apple pies!
For Christmas...I usually go all out - probably b/c I'm a Christmas Eve baby, I've always felt it was *my* holiday. The month of December is all about lights and decorations and cinnamon & nutmeg and christmas music and fires in the fireplace...driving around to see the decorated homes...visiting with family...shopping for gifts for loved ones. I love it all. Eggnog, mistletoe, baking cookies.

We go Xmas shopping for a few gifts for kids who wouldn't normally get anything. We also buy some holiday items and take them to the woman's shelter.
Also, since I was a kid I've always slept in the living room with the Xmas tree lit up on the first night we decorate it. Now DH and I sleep in the living room the first night we decorate the tree.

When Thanksgiving and Christmas come around I love to bake and decorate the house.

The smell of slow cooking pumkin pie is heaven to me.
I also have a small xmas tree, around 3 feet high, that I decorate in cute colors depending on the year. I love to turn off all the lights in the house and sit there and watch the lights twinkle with cup of hot cocoa.
Each year my FH and I got out and buy a XMas ornament that represents our year. Last year it was two mouses baking (I did a lot of baking last year) the year before was Veggie Tales because I was humming one of their song when I arrived at the trade centers and the prior year was Marvin the Martian. This year we hope to find a little engagment ring ornament. Each one has to have the date on it and each one has a meaning.
Can't wait till the 'Our first Xmas' ornament!

A few years ago my family and I cut down our own christmas tree- it was so much fun and we all got into the christmas spirit with trimming the tree!

Each year we go and cut our Christmas Tree down with my parents--last year in NH this year in Vermont. We decorate in the middle of November b/c I can't wait. I love Christmas especially because its my birthday as well. I love watching all the Christmas Shows (Rudolph and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation). We get coffee at night and drive around looking at all the decorations. Listening to Christmas Music and the many wonderful scents of the season. 78 days till Christmas!!

Every year I make about 15 lbs of various Christmas chocolates.
FH and I are going this year to pick out our Christmas tree and then chop it down.
Been going to Manhattan to eat at Carmine's and see the tree at Rockefeller.
My family & I usually goto Christmas mass on Christmas Eve.

It depends on the holiday. For the fall holidays I'll go pumpkin picking and eat fresh apples. For Christmas we'll drive around and look at lights, watch Christmas movies, listen to Christmas carols, things like that.

thanksgiving- i spend half the day at my moms and half at fmils.
christmas- lots and lots of shopping, putting up the tree and a lot of baking. me and fh also take our nieces and nephews around to look at the christmas lights.
