what is storybok, coffee tab;e style photgraphy...

I have heard it mentioned on here before but what exactly is it. For the DUET brides, do they do this?

they are style of albums, not photography....a coffee table book is the SoHo book (there was thread about it a few days ago) in which you can digitally put several images on a page. The coffeetable book the pages are what I describe as kind of like a childrens' book...glossy where the images ARE the page, not glued on...the only fear on this is the page actually ripping since it's thin.

Is it difficult to do?

Instead of just picking x number of proofs, do you have to tell them what you want grouped together, or do they just do all that for you?

if anyone knows of a do-it-yourself place, please let me know! i think that many outfits just deal with professional photographers directly, maybe i should just as mine what he thinks...

I picked about 100 pictures from the proofs that I liked.. I also gave them my invitation, the lyrics to our first dance, and the text to our two readings.

They did all the graphic design/layouts.

That sounds easy enough. I love that style, its like someone made a book abour your wedding. I think my family might not like it, but if FH does, then we'll look into it.

I'm unsure which books you looked at or photographers the pages are not thin they are actual pictures the processing is different film is used...speak with a photographer at length and as you probably guessed I ordered this type of book...I didn't want an old style of wedding album that is cookie cutter like everyone else's...these storybook albums are more costly than traditional albums...kevin mawson who is one of the top photographers starts at $6000 for his books and as a bonus you can order a brag book which is an exact replica of your formal album which fits in your purse hence no lugging the big album to work or out in the street to show your friends

this work can be done in reg film but hten the images must be scanned over... if the even is shot in ditigal..it is 1000x easy to do this...i was just asking a photographer about this.

I love your albums. I'm having the same done by Sherwood Triart, who calls it 'magazine style' layout.

And the pages were thick, like a babies hard cardboard book, so I gave no thought to any pages ripping.

Can you do the soho type book by yourself-with like a company to put it together for you-it's so expensive to go through the photographer for it
