I'd like to know how much everyone spend and if you think a certain amount might be too much.
We are going to start looking. My e-ring has a matching band- but what if it is too expensive? should i get it anyway??? I cant really picture any other ring going with my e-ring though. Here's a pic-let me know if I am crazy? I think a plain ring will not look good against my ring and I wouldnt be able to get anything other than a plain ring if I dont go with the matching band.

I know people that have bought a plain band and spent a few hundred- I know people that have 1-3 carats of diamonds in their bands and spent in the 1,000s.
Spend what you can afford.
We didn't have any $ so I wound up wearing my Grandma's.
MY DH just got me a matching band, but we can't afford platinum right now so he got it for me in white gold...
Do what you can afford....

I agree. Buy what you can afford, plus I think a solid band may look very nice with your ring - it will have a very elegant look.
Than maybe later, when you don't have the wedding expenses to worry about, you can buy a matching ring.. Like for your year anniversary.

mine cost 1800 it was a scott kay and only one that i found compliments my ring. i paid for the bands as my gift to him plus bailey banks and biddle has 0% for 6 months so it gave me some time to pay it off plus you can exchange it if you change your mind i exchanged twice already no questions asked plusget lifetime of free cleaning and paid $50 for insurance so if a diamond falls out they replace no questions asked and if i need to sodder balls on they dont charge or if i need a polish i love that store.

We just put rings on layaway...I have a 3 stone ring, in Yellow gold, the ring that looked absolutley beautiful with it was delicate cut, insert, in White Gold...it is soooooooo beautiful together, and I would have never thought....you relaly donl;tknow until you try! And the one we out on layaway for FH is yellow gold, diamond cut, he loved it Mine codt $730 but it had 30% off...and his was about $400.........most places are flexible with layaway plans....so if u do not ahve the money right this second, a layaway plan is a good alternative!
