What is the best favor you ever received at a wedding?

My brain hurts from trying to come up with good ideas. I'm trying to stay away from edible favors, if possible, but other than that...it's so hard to find something that we like, and that other people will like/use, too...

I like the donation idea - I cant stand to get another wine topper! it has been the favor from the last 3 weddings we went to! we feel bad throwing them out because they are friends but they are just piling up in the drawers!

we're actually doing a candy buffet as a favor. I ordered gable boxes in my wedding colors, pink and brown, I'm wrapping ribbon around them and labeling them so they look pretty. Guests will be able to fill the boxes with candy when they leave the reception. We ordered 14 different candies.

My parents went to a wedding recently and I loved the favor they got.

Throughout the night, the photographer went around and took a pic of every couple.

When they left, their pic was in a frame on a table, and that was their favor!

It was such a cute idea, and definitely useful.

However, not sure what to do about singles on that one......

Little bottles of wine are always good!
I am a big advocate of donating though, that is what I am doing.

I got coasters from a wedding last year and I still use them all the time!

candle holders are nice...coasters...i love espresso cups...wine glasses...ice bucket...

donations are great because they go to charity but i wouldnt do this for my wedding...i give to charity yearly because i like to help others and it helps with taxes too....but when coming from a big italian family they expect a favor to take home...

Forgot to post my own...

I haven't been to many weddings as yet, but so far I've really liked the heart-shaped cookie cutter plus sugar cookie recipe that I received.

Wine stoppers/wine favors are lost on me as I'm allergic to win (*cries*), and edible favors are fun but I am a packrat and like to have a little something to remember the day by.
