Our first Christmas 2001 . My FH knew I loved shih tzu's he suprised me w/ this 5 pound statue of a black and white shih tzu, I know it sounds cheesy but I loved it, then I didn't realize that there was more, then I saw a tiffany's box Im like OMG thank you, thank you even before I opened it. It was the tiffany's heart link necklace. I was so excited. Then of course there was my e-ring which is the best one ever.

my e-ring. Also, its the way he gave it to me...he called me up to meet him at his mom's jewelry store that she shops at, his mom likes to get my opinion on jewelry when she buys it,so I go in, and he asks me to pick out one bracelet out of three, thinking its for his mom, she's standing right there, trying them all on..so I told him which one I liked, and all of the sudden he said put it on...and he got me this stunning stunning bracelet!!

Edited to also say, my first birthday we were together he wrote me a 4 page letter about me, and what he felt for me...mind you he is not a big writer, so I know it meant a lot, and I loved it

A tie between the song he wrote me for our 6 month anniversary and the ring he got me for our 1 month. Both have very special meanings.

Our first easter together He had an easter egg hunt in his apartment for me. Just cheesy little gifts but it was really fun to find them all.

My first weekend away in seven years.

I've spent 7 years caring for my father after a stroke left him partially paralyzed and with limited speaking ability. I never once spent more than one night away from home. FH arranged for us to go to a gorgeous B&B near New Paltz, made sure my brother would be able to take care of my Dad, bought prepared dinners for Dad for the two nights we'd be away and hired a cleaning person to do all of the cleaning and laundry so I wouldn't have to when I returned. It was the first time in 7 years that I could truly relax.

We love to go to the beach and take walks on the boardwalk or walk by the water. We have a special spot on a beach that we love to go to. When I was in college in upstate NY he bought a pretty glass bottle with a stopper on top and filled it with sand from our beach. So he said whenever I missed him and missed home I could open the bottle and feel the sand and think of our special place. I love that present and I have it on my desk right now. That was 5 years ago! I just thought that was the sweetest thing ever.

Michael got me this one Precious Moments figure that is the little girl looking into a pond and the saying is 'A Reflection of his Love'. Awwwwwwwwwww. I just think it says it all and its so cute. And besides I like collecting PM figures.

When we first started going out, it was our 1st week 'anniversary' haha... and he got me a card and 2 stuffed penguins (a boy and a girl! ha ha) I loved them! and it was so thoughtful. My sorority mascott was penguins, and at the time I was president, so I was all about the Sorority... OH how times have changed! ha ha

Our first christmas together, i was really sad because we decided to go separate ways (our families are in different states and we were only dating for a few months). So christmas day, i am having dinner with my family...and there is a knock at our door...he had driven to be with me for the day and had presents for not only my mom, but for my 6 siblings. I couldn't believe it...i still smile thinking about it.
