For all the DIY ladies, I would like to know what kind of paper you are using for your programs? I know a lot of folks use cardstock, but there are varying weights and thickness. In your opinion what is the best type to to use for programs?
TIA!

Heavy cardstock wouldn't be a good idea for the whole thing... maybe the cover pages or just he back page if it's a layered program.
I used regular 20lb paper with a pretty print on it and they turned out fine. You might also consider using vellum for an overlay.
It's entirely up to you and the design of your program.... but I wouldn't use paper that is too heavy.
Good luck.

i was told that 60lb stock for the cover is good and 30lb stock for the interior should work well...

I think I'm just going to use a normal/thick paper for the inside...maybe a fiber kind of paper with a vellum overlay

I found really cute kits on line. They have templates and a nice vellum overlay. The middle is a thicker cardstock. I am not sure of the lbs though.
