we currently have a kenmore one that has broken 3 times (we kept bringing it in and exchanging it for a new one of the same thing). I've heard Dyson, but don't know which one!
I currently have the yellow one on our registry but should i replace it with a different one? are they really that different?

I have noo idea, but we got the purple Dyson, and I LOVE IT! although DH says hes not aloud to vaccum now since its purple .. soo maybe the yellow would be better ha

we looked at BBB yesterday but didn't know if there is actually a noticeable difference between them, or if we should just register for the most expensive one or the cheapest one. I don't know much about vaccuums and which features matter

MY GRANDMA AS PART OF MY SHOWER GIFT GAME ME A KENMORE VACUM CLEANER FROM SEARS. IT IS A BIT PRICEY (400) BUT IT EXCELLENT. THERE IS A MILLION ATTACHMENTS. MY CLEANING LADY EVEN SAYS IT THE BEST VACUM SHE EVER USED!

I'd rather not do another Kenmore:
1) they are only sold at Sears, and we didn't register there
2) We currently have a Kenmore vaccuum and it has broken 3x (although it wasn't their $400 model)
3) I have found Sears' customer service to be lacking and would prefer to get our vaccuum from BBB
thanks for the suggestion though! We got the Kenmore initially because my mom's old vaccuum is Kenmore and she likes it

DYSON animal something and Dyson slim something..
the slim looked like something i could handle.. but definetly Dyson.. omg.. it can suck up anything..

Dyson is suppossed to be the best, but it's VERY expensive. We registered for an electrolux which is suppossed to be almost as good but is much cheaper!

Yup...I love my purple dyson. It ***** all the hair out of the carpets (I have no pets...so it's my hair). It TOTALLY beats all my other vacuums...but is pricey.

OMG...they censored the word S*CKS. Is that a curse-word now? That is so strange....OK...it PULLS out through a narrow opening the hair out of my carpet.

it looks like there are 2 animal ones, you mean the animal ball one? i think that's what it's called?
i shed a lot and our cats are only 10 months old but they will probably shed more when they are full grown, so maybe the expensive one would be worth it.

I have the purple one, I bought it like 2 years ago so not sure if it has been upgraded or not?
But the good thing is at BBB I was able to get 20% off so I saved $100. I have 3 kids who all play baseball and an Akita so we get our carpets very dirty. It was well worth the investment!
