what is the best way to turn a document into a pdf?

in the past i have used pdfonline.com for my resumes etc but I'm looking to turn a larger file into a pdf.

the website says it can have some delay, but i still havent received my document. (it emails it to you).

my file is 2.31MB although i can split it into pieces and put it back into one doc if there is a way to do that.

Anyone?

I believe you can download PDF Printer for free from the Adobe website.

It acts as a printer that 'prints' to acrobat and turns whatever file you have into pdf format.

I use it everyday at work.
