The biggest lesson has definitely been to say NO. Its hard to please everyone. Everyone wants an invite but that is impossible and expensive. So I have also learned to not discuss my wedding plans with people that I will not be inviting esp coworkers.

just remember that you are getting married to the man you love. its about the actual wedding ceremony and what that means. at the end of the day your guests will not care if the linens were not all 3 inches off the ground, or if there were only 5 votives on the table instead of 6. they wont know that the roses are suppose to be red instead of purple, or that the cake was vanilla and not chocolate.
if you think of it as just a party, and not put so much pressure to make everything 'perfect' then things will fall nicely into place and you will have a wonderful day
Yes to us these may seem like huge mistakes, but in my eyes it will never be enough to let it ruin my day, the day that I marry my best friend, and get to celebrate in front of all my family and friends.
I second that!!!!! well said!
