it's basically the favor of the event. If you have VH I would not do a candy bar, it would be excessive.

you can still do it and make it a favor...maybe put out little boxes with your names on it or something and they can fill it with candy to take home?
If your having a VH, I don't think it's necessary. I will say though, that we had one at the e-party and the kids went NUTS!! They loved it. But, as long as your VH has like ice cream and brownies and chocolate cake, you should be good..kids love that stuff!
You can give kids bags of candy as their favor
