It IS cheesy!!! She messes up in class but at the end she is the star and gets to be a principle dancer in a company? C'mon now! What about when they are washing the mirrors in the classroom? MAJOR CHEESE!

no , it is cheesy, I was just defending myself for going to see it alone. And watching it again on cable.
I love Girls Just Wanna Have Fun too, but I thought that qualified more for the 'classic 80's movie' category, which then absolves it of cheesiness. Like Pretty in Pink.

speaking of babysitters, what about: 'Adventures in Babysitting' ?? Great flick!
I remeber wantignt o see that movie soooooooo badly, but it was rated PG-13, and I was 12 my mom was strict about it even thoguh mt friend went with her sister who was only 10!
I eventually saw it on video, but don't remember much about it.

yes that was the movie. I cant think of the name but I loved the movie with Sarah Jessica Parker where she wanted to dance in the competition but she had to sneak around to do it. Helen Hunt was in it too as her best friend. SO cheesy, but great!

One of mine is more campy then corny! It's Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band starring-The Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Aerosmith , George Burns & a host of others!! ( But that shows my age!)

I was VERY obessed with Space Camp. Sometimes is till quote it, ' WHITE PLAINS! That's inthe midle of New York! ( I live in westchester, so this comes up frequently.
