What is the deal with the trashing your wedding gown

Do you get some kind of incentive for doing it?

Nope...it makes a great Day After Shoot but I could never do it!! Maybe if I had a dress for like $50 but mine was a BIT more than that...plus my mother would KILL me!!

yes!! Lools' sister did a trash the dress photo shoot and her pictures came out AMAZING! here's the link!

wow - these look great! my photographer wanted to do this a month before the wedding and then I'd get the dress dry cleaned. I thought he was crazy and of course didn't do it!

OMG I saw this for the first time on WE and was amazed that someone would do this! If I bought a dress that was like 100 bucks, then maybe I'd consider doing it.......I would NEVER even think about jumping into an ocean or dirtying up my dress. I'd have a heart-attack if someone asked me to do this and there isn'tenough money in the world that would make me want to do this!

I love the pictures, but I just couldn't ever do that to my dress!! I agonized over my dress choice for so long, there's no way I'm destroying that thing now

I would do it in a heartbeat. I love my dress, but seriously, what good is it to me in a box. I'd rather have the beautiful photos.

i've seen some of these picks. my favs are the ones in the water. one in particular i loved was of a couple laying in the sand kissing with the waves crashing over them.

I think Lools sisters pictures are amazing!!! I love her pics in the water. I would totally do this. Maybe a couple of us brides who want to trash our dresses can get together & get this done. We could have someone like angelica glass do them & we could split the cost?
