Between a full mass and a ceremony in a Catholic church?
Time frame, layout, etc....

I think its time frame and layout
Full mass is about 40 - 45 minutes (depends on how long the priest will talk) This has everything a regular mass has (readings, communion, etc...)
Ceremony is about 20 min. No readings, no communion, no sign of peace.

Do you know if they do something along the lines of both???
My FI and I are trying to decide between the two and we are kind of pressed for time.
Like maybe they would allow us to do the readings but not give communion?

I'm just having a ceremony and we are having 2 readings, but no communion. Priest says it takes about 45 min. Every ceremony I have ever been to has had readings. I think the difference is really just no communion. A full mass at my church would be about 1 hr.
