What is the difference

Uplights are fixed and go by the walls to light up the room fromt he floor. They can be regula lights with gels that stay one color all night or LED's that change color... but they don't move.

Intelligent lights generally go on a truss, up high, and are spots that are controlld by a computer to move in different directions and change colors. Usually used for the dance floor.
