Re: WHat is the earliest age you would take your child on a plane?
One of my closest friends travelled from Ireland to NY with her 2 month old son. She went to the Dr. before getting on the plane & did not travel during the height of cold/flu season. I hope that helps!
Oh I forgot, another friend brought her daughter to Italy when she was 3 months old, right after they christened her. They also flew during the summer.

It's over because you deem it so? Whatev.
Anyway, I've seen infants on planes. I don't know how safe it is although from what mommies on here are saying sounds like it is. I think your pediatrician would know too...
Lolita, maybe if you FM Ron (the owner of the site) and ask for a pet board he will make one? I think that there's enough interest on the boards in general. But I can agree with the others, talking about your dog as your baby, even if you feel that way, is not the same as an actual child. Because they are not children and you have to care for them differently. Questions on here pertain to actual children not animals.
Re: WHat is the earliest age you would take your child on a plane?
I have a question I have been thinking about alot too relating to this.
Me and FH want to go to CA for our 1 yr anniversary and start TTC there. What if I get preggo in CA, is it ok to fly home?

You should be fine because your little love 'blob' will be fully protected in it's safe little sac. I think it's when you get bigger in the pregnancy you have concerns (also if you're suffering from m/s in the 1st tri).
Good luck!

Love blob
Thanks for the info. I kind of thought it might be opposite becasue I feel like a little 'blob' is so fragile where an 8 month old fetus is practically 'out and about'.
Thanks again... when the time comes my doctor is going to go crazy with all my questions!
