What is the etiquette with inviting priest to reception???
The priest who will be marrying us is not the priest that I really know so I feel funny asking him the reception. What is the right thing to do?

Re: What is the etiquette with inviting priest to reception???
I'm inviting the minister and his wife to our reception which immediately follows our ceremony at the Swan Club.
He knows my sister and her husband very well since they were members of his church before they moved.
We're meeting with him on Monday evening to discuss our ceremony, etc.

The official etiquette is to invite them only if you have known him for a long time, he is a family friend, etc.
If the only reason you know this person is because you are getting married than you dont invite.
Hope this helps
