I went to St. Catherines in Franklin Square and was qouted $250 I think but that was with music. It was like $125 for Vocalist and another $125 for organist.
I'm fairly certain that was the price.

Mine is $600 and includes the music. But the Church I was originally going to get married (Couldn't because ceromony time was to late) was $425 and that included the organist.

For everything at my church, including FOCCUS and precana (the night time one...) it comes out to $750

$400 for the Church and about another $600 for musicians. It always amazes me how people quibble about a couple hundred dollar donation to the Church, which when you think about it, really is the most important aspect of the day and probably the CHEAPEST!! If it wasn't for the Church, you wouldn't be 'married.'

$300 for the church and i think another $250 for the organist. Plus a $60 fee for pre-cana, but me and FH are going w/ a diocese one so that we get it done w/ quicker over 2 days and are paying $200 for it.

FOCCUS is a scantron test you take with basic questions that they compare agree/disagree answers between you and FH. After the test you meet with a host couple and discuss your 'differences' and ways to work through them blah blah blah (the questions are trick questions...) PreCana is when you meet with a host couple in their home and discuss issues such as living together, family planning, bringing religion into your marraige, yadda yadda...If you want to get married in a catholic church you usually have to do these things but it really depends on the church and their requirements

wow... i kinda hope my church doesnt require all that.... i was raised catholic but not very big about being religious.. and FH def is not religious.. well i guess we'll see what they say

you will def have to do precana but I dont have to pay for it I dont know why everyone else does.
I would inquire with the church, usually it is a seperate fee not included in the church fee/donation...Also to do a one day precana session costs more than the one over a few different nights.

Everyone getting married in a catholic church has to do FOCCUS and Pre-Cana. Its mandatory through the Diocese of Rockville Centre. You don't have to do it at your church, you can do it at any church or even though the diocese in a weekend.
My church charges $650 then its another $300 for FOCCUS & Pre-Cana. Plus then I have to tip the musicians, its probably going to be around the $1k mark.

wow..... my friend got married last yr and only paid $250 donation and her pre cana was included in that there was a $75 fee for music though and she didnt do Foccus.... 1,000 for church wow.... somepeople told me when they got married it was free they just had to make a donation

you were quoted only $250? I was quoted at $600, which includes music.
