We were never giving a minimum, we try to make big payments every 4 months.

I paid 5,200 initial and then paid 5 more payments of 2k each every other month. Then 50% of the balance is due a couple of weeks before.

Same for me. But we paid more for good reasons.
we paid 3500 deposit then we paid 4 payments of $7000 each.
Then the balance of about 6000 the week of the wedding or a week and a half before.

1,000 to book 2,000 in January 1,000 June and rest 2 weeks before wedding.

Ours was a $1000 initial deposit, and 2 payments of 2800 dollars every 3 months, and the remaining due 1 week before the wedding.

We had to pay $1000 at signing and now it's $2000 every 2 months (3 payments)
