This will be my second payment made... no schedule or set amount was set in contract. What's the minimum you've sent, when it came to increment pymnts?

we've always paid the minimum required which was $1000 per month ....
if i could choose how much to pay, i'd probably split up the total (approximate) cost by the amount of months i have and pay that amount each month (if i could afford it, that is). that way, i wouldn't be overwhelmed with the very last payment.

Ditto. Ours was $1300 every other month. Some months we gave more.

Our initial deposit was $1,000. Then we had three $2,000 deposits after that.

ours was just broken down into 4 payments, Initial deposit was $2000 (that was back in August). This next payment in March is $3000. The payment in December is $4000. Then the final payment will be a week before the wedding when we give the final head count and any last minute decisions that may alter the final price.

OMG! that is some serious pymnts!!! I paid $1500.00 deposit now im about to mail them $1500.00 again..... No monthly pymnts schedules set so im happy for that- maybe because my wedding is not until 2012....Small wedding 100-125 ppl..... I guess my little $500.00+ here and there is a joke to you girls pymnts..lolol

we gave a $5,000 deposit at contract signing (December 2008) & the remaining balance isn't due until 2 weeks before the weeding. we where not required to make any other payments in between.
it actually worked out really well for us. my parents put the money into a CD so we made a little interest on it.

Our initial deposit was $3700 and we have payments of $2500 every few months. sometimes they're 2 months apart, and sometimes 3.

ours are scheduled in increments 1000 (deposit), 1500, 2000... and so on up to 3500 every 3 months or something. then theres the balance due.

We had initial $1,500 to book, then $2,500 3 months after booking, then 30% due 8 months out, then final payment due 10 days before event

wow! those are some serious payments-i haven' t booked my hall yet; but the initial deposit will be $1,000 and then 1/2 way through i need to be 50% paid so that will be another $4K which i plan to break out between bi-monthly payments of $700. WOW that's a lot of money! (to me)

my first payment was 2000 and payments are 2000 in 2 months then 3000 3 months away and then another 3000 4 months

our deposit was 1000 in march we are giving 3500 and in septemer another 3500 the rest is 2 weeks before the wedding.
