What is the most amount of money you ever found????????

For me it was a $100.00 Bill in Macy's Smith Haven and my Dad made me bring it to the front desk I was 10 years old at the time

I think $40. I was babysitting and had taken the girls for a walk. I wanted to set a good example so we took it to the police and we got it a couple of weeks later.

100 dollars at a christmas tree lot and I cried when I found it! I wanted to give it to the owners of the lot but my mom actually told me that I found it, I should keep it. I felt so bad though, thinking it was some family's money for their tree and now they didnt have it.

I wound up giving it to the church cause I felt sooo bad!

Here is a story for you:

I went down to South Padre for Spring Break (while I was living in TX) We were headed back to San Antonio tired and exhausted. When all of a sudden, a Mustang sped past us followed by a trooper following. All of sudden, we see money flying everywhere. We stopped on the highway and started putting money in our bikinis and their were only a few of us who realized that it was money. ONce the other cars realized that it was money flying in the air, we had already took it all and it was too late for them. Between 3 of us, we had like $1500. I had about $400. When do you ever see money falling from the sky? We later found out that it was a drug bust. Do I feel guilty for keeping it? NO, i try not to see it that way.

I found $350 on the way to work one day. I was secretly cursing FH (BF at the time) bc he won't wake up to give a ride to work. As I walked across the parking lot to the bus stop, I saw a little black pouch near a car. I picked it up and when I opened it there was wad of money. I looked for ID or something with a name, but the money was the only thing in there. I looked for notices of a missing wallet and asked front desk if anyone reported something missing. After 3 days, I considered it mine!!!!

I gave FH $20 bc if he had given me a ride to work I wouldn't have found the money.

$20 in the bra section of the old Jeffrey's store in Commack. I was probably younger than 10 and I thought it was the greatest thing in the world!!

I once found 200 in a gas station.


nehaliasz- You just brought back memories of Jeffrey's. I totally forgot about that store.

$130. We were in Penn station...I looked down (after picking the wrong line yet again) and saw a folded up $20. I assumed it was $30 - b/c it was thicker than just a $20. Anyway...I walked into the magazine shop where FH was and told him of my find. Then when we got on the train and I opened up the folded bills...I found the $100. My hands started shaking! I had never found that much $$ before - the most was $35/$50.

So we went to a really trendy restaurant in Huntington that night (so trendy that it is no longer there! )...and had a great time.


ETA: There was no one around where I found the money - or else I would have asked if anyone lost any. I did feel guilty about it once I found that there was a $100 in the mix.

i was 9 and found $100 in Rainbows the clothes store and my grandmother took to the store and i brought fish they died and i think my grandmother planted it there
