I think it is the food music but most important if the couple are together dancing and drinking keeping the party alive!

Food and music, but people make the party.

I would say the food - because if it is not good people will remember that
Music - because that is the entertainment - if the music isn't good people don't dance - and many won't have as good a time
Favors - most people put them somewhere and forget them so I would say that is bottom of my list.

Whenever I speak to someone about a wedding months or years later you rarely hear - hey check out those favors they were so great. You usually hear - the food was amazing and I danced the whole night!

For me, it's food and music. Without a doubt. I always remember if the food was good or not.

I wold say food and Music...

Poeple always remember if they had a good time fdancing and stuffing their faces . and they also remember ..' did the bride and groom come over and thank me?'

The place is what you make of it...

for me? I remember the music, atmosphere (boring, crazy dancing, very traditional, etc...), what the bride wore, but not really food. I can't remember the food from any wedding I have ever been to! (and I DO like to eat ;-))

FOOD, MUSIC, and definitely SERVICE!

Food, music, and flowers. Of course, service from the caterer/reception venue.

-Atmostphere (Decor and location - always leaves an impression, whether it's good or bad.)
-Flowers/Centerpieces

Things I remember b/c they s*u*c*k:
--Poor Service
-Music/Entertainment (Unfortunately, I remember when a DJ is awful/cheesy.)
-Favors (Again when they're awful/cheesy. I usually don't take them b/c I know I'm going to feel guilty throwing it away.)

Theresa - you are getting married at Russo's right?
My brother's best friend got married there 5 years ago and everyone STILL RAVES about the food and how no place will surpass it - no pressure for me right?!

Food and music!! I don't think favors makes or breaks a wedding. Also, service is something I remember.

I would definitely say music! Good food is very helpful as well. I went to a wedding recently and didn't realize that we didn't get favors until 2 days later - that tells you how much I missed them!
