Hello Girls~ I was just wondering if I went overboard with my flowers.. I think Fh might flip when he sees the bill... please let me know what the maximum amount is that you would spend on your flowers including house, church, hall and boq's.... TIA

I spent about $1000 on flowers. That is because I had a small bridal party (3 BM, 3 GM) and my reception location came with the centerpieces. I went half on the altar flowers with the girl who was getting married after me. I couldn't imagine spending over $2000 on flowers.

my budget is $2500, I met with vendors who came in at more than that even though, I openly told them what my budget was and that really pissed me off. Until I met an amazing florist, who came in at exactly what I said and is even doing more now for me and staying at what she first quoted!!

I met with my first florist today and was blown away by the cost. I thought it would run around $2,500 and its more like $3,500. There are things I can cut - which I am thinking about - or else I might try to make my own centerpieces.
Went to another floris and got everything the first florist quoted for $2,300 - actually less than I had expected!

we are spending 2K and we are getting the perfect amount for us
Sad to say the same flowers we ordered had different prices at different place
I have had quotes from 1800-4000 for the SAME THINGS!!
Depends where you go i guess

We will be spending about 3K. The highest estimate I got for basically the same package was 4,200...I thought that was a little much for me to do. I think it is all about what is important to you. I decided to spend a little bit extra for the hall I wanted...so we will be doing a little bit less for other things. (ie. I couldn't have the photographer I wanted )

Flowers are not important to me and I want to keep it under 2k. I know it will be hard since I have 8 BM and 2 FG....But definitely sticking to my budget for the flowers.

i spent around 6-7k but that's because i'm having a HUGE wedding and i wanted nicer flowers. i think my budget was originally 5k and i just went over b/c i wanted high centerpieces.

Our flowers are going to cost us about 3K. We are having around 25 centerpieces though and that is where most of the money is going. Everything else 6 Bo-K's (including mine), 12 Boutonniers, 5 corsages, 2 church pieces, pew bows, 2 FG's, and cake flowers were all going to cost us $660, but the centerpieces what brought us up to 3K, so we are hoping or a few 'no's' when the invitations go out so we have less CP's!
